Summary

DOC-GS12L is a kind of microparticles with high hydration activity . It  reacts with Ca(OH)2 to form gel and generates volume expansion during hydration process of the cement. In this way, it prompts gel strength development during cement curing and improves gas-stop ability of the cement stone by dramatically decreasing its permeability.

DOC-GS12L has a strong ability of absorbing water, it can effectively  bound water between cement particles, control and reduce free fluid, and prevent fluid channeling during direction and horizontal well cementing.

It rapidly improves gelation rate and increases gas channeling resistance by filling effect of its superfine particles. The superfine particles, meanwhile, greatly increases acting points in cemented interface, thus effectively improving the cementing force and quality.

When used cooperatively with other impermeable fluid loss additive (DOC-G80L), the cement slurry possesses: good settling stability, low fluid loss, zero free fluid; rapid strength development under high temperature and high early strength under low temperature; wide cement density applying range; good interface cementation quality due to the volume expansion of cement stone; excellent corrosion resistance against carbon dioxide and other formation fluids; strong thixotropy to avoid leakages during the waiting period of cement  settling; short static gelling time to rapidly increase gas cut resistance during cement curing and avoid gas cut and migration caused by pore pressure drop; good quality stability, recipe easy to adjust, simple execution process and convenient to mix slurry in spot.
